You can find your username for UCL's network, itslearning and your new student e-mail at the earliest 14 days before the start of your studies at netid.ucl.dk.

If your username doesn't appear when you sign in, wait a few days and try again.

We have produced a course for you that introduces you to the programs and tools used in teaching at UCL.

The course will prepare you for your studies before your actual studies begin, so we encourage you to complete it before the start of your studies.
You will find the course on itslearning under your education's "Info for alle" room (eg "SYO Info for alle").

At the earliest you can expect to have access to the course 14 days before study start. You can find your username for itslearning at https://netid.ucl.dk.

It is free to get a student card, which gives you access to various facilities on campus, also outside of normal opening hours.

You will be helped to create a student card.

The cards will be produced and handed out at the start of the study. As a starting point, you will be photographed in a team where, for example, a tutor ensures that you have time to get individual pictures for student cards.

Once the team has taken pictures, a representative of the team must create a case via service.ucl.dk and state education and team number.

When the team's student card is ready for collection in the Information, an email will be sent to the team's representative.

Students, who have not been photographed in a team, must take a photo and create a case at service.ucl.dk with your normal login, which you also use to access the network and your UCL mail.

You will receive an email, when the student card is ready for collection in the Information.

Photo machines

The vending machines are located in Building A, at each end of the back of the Auditorium towards Hal C. The picture for your student ID must be taken through the vending machines available at UCL, we cannot use any pictures you take at home for your student card.

International students

International students can only take a photo and make a student card when they have a Danish CPR number, which can be updated when creating a case at service.ucl.dk

Lost student card

If you loose your student card, you must take a new photo and send a case to service.ucl.dk, where you must provide the following:

  • Uni login (what's in your student email before @)
  • Full names (eg Sofie Marie Jensen)

You will receive an email when the student card is ready for collection in the Information.

If you have further questions about student cards, you can find answers at service.ucl.dk
