Vestre Engvej is one of two campuses in Vejle and is located in the Health Centre. From here you can easily slip over to UCL's Campus on Boulevarden or to the DGI House if you train there. This means that there is ample opportunity to use facilities and offers at both campuses. On Vestre Engvej almost 900 students move daily, divided into two study programmes; social worker and nurse training.
Vestre Engvej has various labs associated with the programmes, which are availible for you as a student.
All equipment and booking of rooms is managed by Carelab Manager Christina Carlsen, who can be contacted by email chca@ucl.dk.
The library Vestre Engvej is a joint library for students on UCL's study programmes in Vejle.
In the Library Vestre Engvej you will find non-fiction targeted at these educations. You can reserve literature on bib.ucl.dk (UCL Library database). Or the literature can be borrowed from other libraries in Denmark.
You can look forward to spending some time at the library - both to borrow literature, but also to participate in study group work. In the library there are student workplaces, so you and your fellow students can meet to discuss and/or write assignments.
In the course guide in UCL Library's database, you will find an overview of relevant databases and web pages for your particular degree programme.

During your education, you will receive instruction in information and literature search from the library.

UCL wishes to strengthen a good study- and work environment. Therefore we all need a mutual set of rules, that we can help each other to respect.
The policies and rules apply to all students and course participants in UCL.
UCL wishes to create a healthy and non-smoking environment for all students and staff.
Smoking is prohibited within normal study hours. This applies to all rooms, outdoor areas and vehicles. As a courtesy to UCL neighbours, it is also prohibited to smoke on grounds, which are neighbouring to UCL properties.
Electronic cigarettes, chewing tobacco and other nicotine products are covered by the same rules as regular smoking.
Smoking may be allowed at UCL locations, when Friday bar or other student activities take place outside of normal study hours. However, students must always follow the guidelines, which have been sent out along with the announcement of the event as well as local signs, which have been put up in connection with the activity.
Upon request UCL gives information about available “Stop smoking”-courses
