Stationsvej, which is located centrally in the historic town of Jelling, is the old seminary, which boasts of having trained teachers and later pedagogues since 1841. It forms the framework for Stationsvej and here almost 800 students have their normal day.
The library at Stationsvej is primarely for you as a student but is also a public library, so it is open to everyone.
You will find the library located with an entrance from the courtyard between the H-building and the E-building.
The library has a self-service lending and drop-off machine, so you can pick up and drop off books both inside and outside the library's opening hours.
The library is also responsible for the distribution of AV equipment e.g. video camera, dictaphones, etc.
Library staff are there to assist you Monday-Thursday 8.00-15.30 and Friday 8.00-14.00.
The library is served by 2 librarians and 2 student assistants, all of whom are ready to help and inspire you in everyday life with study work, literature search and references.
You are also welcome in the library when staff are not present. In that case, you let yourself in with your student ID card and code. Opening hours follow the rest of campus.
You can contact the library at Stationsvej by email bib-jel@ucl.dk or by phone 63 18 37 24.

UCL wishes to strengthen a good study- and work environment. Therefore we all need a mutual set of rules, that we can help each other to respect.
The policies and rules apply to all students and course participants in UCL.
UCL wishes to create a healthy and non-smoking environment for all students and staff.
Smoking is prohibited within normal study hours. This applies to all rooms, outdoor areas and vehicles. As a courtesy to UCL neighbours, it is also prohibited to smoke on grounds, which are neighbouring to UCL properties.
Electronic cigarettes, chewing tobacco and other nicotine products are covered by the same rules as regular smoking.
Smoking may be allowed at UCL locations, when Friday bar or other student activities take place outside of normal study hours. However, students must always follow the guidelines, which have been sent out along with the announcement of the event as well as local signs, which have been put up in connection with the activity.
Upon request UCL gives information about available “Stop smoking”-courses
To help you get the most out of your stay with us, we have collected some information about student life on Stationsvej.
At Stationsvej you have the opportunity to drop by the super cozy Friday bar "Underhuset". In "Underhuset", everyone is welcome. Here are arranged Beerpong tournaments, student parties, Shrovetide and much more. And otherwise, you can just meet over something cool and a cup on a random Friday.
Find "Underhuset" on Facebook if you're interested in learning more, or maybe even sign up as a volunteer.
Are you the active type or are you just in favor of a good community? Then you can play football for UCL Jelling. We are called FC UCL Jelling and we like football! Whether you're at super league level or you're just here for fun – it doesn't matter to us! Everyone is welcome!
You can stay updated about the above on Jelling's Facebook page.
The Culture Committee is the cultural centre of the Teacher Education Programme in Jelling. Throughout the year, they are in charge of organizing a series of lectures, concerts and other fun things. They are also responsible for arranging the Annual Celebration. The Culture Committee also does a great deal to cooperate with the other committees in teacher education, including "Underhuset", the Student Teachers' Council and the National Circle of Student Teachers.
