Guide for parking at Klostervænget
There is a disabled parking space close to both buildings. Access to buildings and access to toilets are possible for people with disabilities.
There are good opportunities for bicycle parking – also with cover.
It is your own responsibility to investigate and comply with the local parking conditions, as parking attendants continuously check this, and UCL does not pay parking fines for students.
In case of complaints regarding control fees, please refer to APCOA's/Europark's self-service on their website: https://en.europark.dk/
UCL wishes to strengthen a good study- and work environment. Therefore we all need a mutual set of rules, that we can help each other to respect.
The policies and rules apply to all students and course participants in UCL.
UCL wishes to create a healthy and non-smoking environment for all students and staff.
Smoking is prohibited within normal study hours. This applies to all rooms, outdoor areas and vehicles. As a courtesy to UCL neighbours, it is also prohibited to smoke on grounds, which are neighbouring to UCL properties.
Electronic cigarettes, chewing tobacco and other nicotine products are covered by the same rules as regular smoking.
Smoking may be allowed at UCL locations, when Friday bar or other student activities take place outside of normal study hours. However, students must always follow the guidelines, which have been sent out along with the announcement of the event as well as local signs, which have been put up in connection with the activity.
Upon request UCL gives information about available “Stop smoking”-courses
To help you get the most out of your stay with us, we have collected some information about student life on Klostervænget.
"Hulen" is the name of Klostervænget's Friday bar, where students relax with a cold drink and a cup after a hard week of teaching. This is also where you gather for Easter and Christmas bars, Halloween parties, Beerpong tournaments, Winter Wonderland, cups and much more.
Find them on Facebook if you're interested in seeing more, or maybe even sign up under the tabs as volunteers.
FUUS is a party commitee that organizes events across the study programmes in Svendborg. A semester start party and a pub crawl are orgainzed each semester. Find them on Facebook and stay updated on the next party.
